    Team Racing-Yachts likes to inform you that the Landmark 43 has been sold!   The Landmark 43 is a Mark Mills design and has been one of the most successfull racing boats over the past years in national and international regatta’s. The current owner is bringing her back from Italy to the Netherlands where she started her sailing life.   The Landmark 43 is a remarkable fast racing/cruiser sailboat. The hull is made of fiberglass re-inforced epoxy sandwich and gelcoat. The keel frame inside the boat is made of carbon composite and the whole hull and deck are laminated together to create an even more stiff structure.The deck layout is designed by former Volvo Ocean race members and shows optimal working space for the main sheet trimmer as the mainsheet traveller is placed on the aft of the deck.To save weight all interior components such as cubboards and doors are made of plastic honeycomb material covered by luxurieus wood veneer. Volvo 65  Drawn at Farr Yacht Design in the USA especially for the Volvo Ocean Race 2014/15 (now the Ocean Race), the strict one-design Vo65 replaced its predecessor, the Vo70. Every Vo65 is structurally identical down to the smallest detail. Same hull, same rig, same sails, same opportunities. This produced some of the closest racing the Ocean Race has ever seen. As with its predecessor, the basic concept is a planing hull with a wide stern, double rudders, sharp edges and a swivel keel. The reverse bow is new. It extends the waterline and reduces the pounding in short waves, but provides plenty of spray on deck. The lateral plan has also been revised. The Vo65 dispenses with an angle of attack of the swords and instead relies on a lift profile to counteract the drift.     Kuka Light Kuka Light is one of the fastest boat ever built in it’s class (40-42 feet) for offshore races. The full-carbon autoclave built yacht is thought and engineered to be raced in long distance races by a small crew of 7. The super light boat (3.4 tons displacement) has demonstrated to be as fast as the best 50 and 60 footer in races like Giraglia and Middle Sea Race. Equipped with a canting keel and a rotating mast Kuka-Light has been constantly developed during the last years and is very competitive also in ORC rating. The boat has been professionally maintained and serviced throughout the years. The carbon fin and the structural parts of boat and mast have been checked by QI-Composite with ultra sound.       GS44 Essentia today became second time World Champion in Porto Cervo  Class B with 27 boats enrolled leaving behind four Swan 42s in the top 6.   In Class A Karl Kwok's (HKG) TP52 BEAU GESTE, driven by Ken Read (USA) and guided by tactician Gavin Brady (NZL), were among the early favorites but had not raced in an ORC Worlds since 2018 when they won Class A in that year's Worlds. The 9th place earned in the non-discardable Offshore race was due to a filling breeze that favored the slower boats in the class, but the remainder of their scorecard was impressive with 3-1-1-1-1-2 in the inshore races. This pushed them out on top of the standings where they stayed In Class C there was a similar dominance by one team, who were also past ORC World Champions. Ott Kikkas's (EST) Italia 11.98 SUGAR 3 won the 2019 Worlds in Sibenik, Croatia with this boat and were runner's up in last year's Worlds in Tallinn, so they too were favorites coming into the event.
