The FAREAST 28R is a racing sailboat by Simonis & Voogd that delivers the excitement of One-Design (OD) racing under 30′. The FAREAST 28R is constructed using a polyester/foam-core sandwich which is vacuum infused. FAREAST 28R has only top of the range deck gear (by Harken & Spinlock) and spars (by Selden) for top level racing.
ISAF approved One Design Class:
The Fareast 28R is an ISAF approved One-Design class and numbers are growing fast, over 450 boats have been sold. We are building a class in Australia and New Zealand, Nationals are held every year and you will always find other 28's to race against at major events.
