Yacht description

The all carbon version of the FarEast 31R is the 31R Carbon.

Be the fastest 31 footer on the race course with this ultimate Grand Prix racer. Enjoy high speed downwind runs, beat the big boys. This high performance racing machine weighs only 1800kg of which 1200 is in the bulb! And that's not all...

The modern hull shape with its flat run aft, allows for exhilarating downwind sailing and speeds over 25kts are easily achievable. High form stability and perfect balance make the boat easy to control. The Simonis-Voogd designs build on proven fast hull shapes that guarantee very good all-round performance.

The Selden mast with twin running backstays enables this powerful yacht to carry a large square top mainsail. The deflectors on the backstays also help to tighten the forestay in upwind conditions to help with pointing as high as possible and with boat speed. The boat can also be specified with a carbon mast for further improved performance.

The deck layout is clean, with all control lines running under the deck. Helmsman foot rests can be adjusted for a perfect steering position.

The FAREAST 31R is the ultimate racing machine and sets a new standard with a number of novel features on and below decks.
